Please note that AITSL will be launching a new website on 25 July 2017 with enhanced functionality to help you easily find and access our content.

As a result, the Teacher Toolkit will be decommissioned shortly after the new website is live.

The Teacher Toolkit will continue to remain accessible online for a couple of weeks after the launch of the new website, but any links to resources within the Teacher Toolkit will no longer work.

All the Toolkit content will be available on the new AITSL website at and we encourage you to add our new site to your bookmarks.

If you encounter an issue or can’t find content you’re looking for in the new website, please contact us.

Classroom Practice Continuum

View Resource

Classroom Practice ContinuumThe Classroom Practice Continuum brings the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers to life by building out the Professional Practice domain and articulating what teachers at increasing levels of expertise do in the classroom.

By demonstrating progression along the Continuum, teachers can see what it looks like to improve their own classroom practice and the consequent impact of this improvement on student learning, student engagement in learning and student wellbeing.
